The investigations were carried out over the period of 2010-2011 at the Experimental Station of the Aleksandras Stulginskis on an Endocalcari- Epihypogleuic Cambisol. The objective of this investigations was estimate the weediness of winter rye (Secale cereale L.) in different crop rotations after various pre–crops, their influence on soil enzyme activity and biological grain yield.
The highest dry matter mass of weeds were established in the winter rye crop grown after winter rape for greenmanure (sideral crop rotation). The dry matter mas of weeds increased from 3,4 to 18,2 times compared whit the other crop rotation.
The lowest activity of urease and saccharase was abstained in the soil where was tree-field crop rotation, where the pre-crop of winter rye were black fallow. Other pre-crops of winter rye trended to the soil enzyme activity.
The highest biological grain yield, was distinguished by the row crop rotation. The biological grain yield of winter rye increased from 39,8 to 63,7 proc.
